Dr. Tim (Tien-Chun) Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan and was raised in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis. He then completed his medical education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He returned home to Houston to complete his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Finally, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He enjoys treating a wide variety of digestive diseases. He enjoys the relationships that he develops with his patients and especially takes pride in helping patients see the light at the end of the tunnel. In his free time, Dr. Chen enjoys attending sporting events, playing basketball, and jogging. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has enjoyed exploring the city’s theaters, arts, and restaurants.
